Frequently asked questions

Common questions.

What should I record before a leakage inspection?

Note when damp appears, how long it lasts and whether it relates to rainfall or use. Photograph the wider area and junctions, not only the wet spot.

Can you quote from photographs alone?

Photos help us start the conversation but cannot always show every layer. We arrange an inspection to determine the scope and solution.

Does existing tiling need to be removed?

That depends on the condition of the existing layers and selected solution. We decide after inspection.

Do you also install the final covering?

The final covering can form part of a broader scope. Our quote clearly lists the preparation, waterproofing and finishing included.
